What is the value of a generic domain name?

The internet to a business is about finding and keeping clients, nothing more, nothing less. It has grown in just a few years into a wonderful sales tool, whether selling a pair of boots or, in our case luxury yachts and marine services, it is has become indispensable.   4. Each site has a standard, affordable, listing available. Listing costs will alter from site to site. Some companies may wish to list on more than one site, this is acceptable but it would not be acceptable for say a Yacht Management company to be listed on the Superyacht Marinas site. A client can easily discover the cost to be listed on the site of his choice and pay using credits that can be purchased through our payment gateway. These standard company listings will change on a daily basis, with the listing at the top moving to the bottom and so on, giving each client, over the course of a year, many opportunities to be seen first.
  5. Each site will also have available up to four static front page listings, these will always been seen on the front page when a client visits and will be charged at a higher rate than the listings outlined in 4. A company taking one of these spots will be given first option to retain this position in future years.
